IPv6 Connectivity: Partial Packet Loss or No Connection
Due to routing issues, IPv6 traffic to/from certain external targets has been experiencing packet loss. This has included IPv6 traffic of virtual servers as well as requests to our Object Storage and other infrastructure from external sources.
Connections between virtual servers at cloudscale.ch were not affected by this issue.
The packet loss has been caused by an issue within one of our connectivity providers. As an immediate measure, we have re-routed IPv6 traffic to our other Internet uplinks at around 14:39 CEST. So far, IPv6 connectivity seems to be stable again (except for direct end customers of the affected ISP).
We keep watching the state and will update this incident ticket if necessary.
