Core Router: Hardware and Routing Expansion from 2019-04-08 22:00 CEST to 2019-04-09 02:00 CEST

From Monday 2019-04-08 at 22:00 CEST until Tuesday 2019-04-09 at 02:00 CEST, we will add additional line cards to our core routers and extend the routing domain to a second data center in Switzerland. During this maintenance work you may experience short periods of partial packet loss (up to 1-2 minutes) or higher RTTs for connections from and towards the Internet. Connections between virtual servers at cloudscale.ch will not be affected by this maintenance work.

Expected Impact
Short periods of partial packet loss (up to 1-2 minutes) or higher RTTs for Internet-facing connections. Thanks to our redundant setup we do not expect any further impact on already running virtual servers.
