Cloud Compute Nodes: Operating System Updates from 2018-09-25 08:00 CEST to 2018-09-26 18:00 CEST

On Tuesday 2018-09-25 and Wednesday 2018-09-26 we will update the operating system of our cloud compute nodes. All running virtual servers will be live-migrated to other compute nodes at least once during this maintenance work. This is a standard procedure during compute node maintenance and no impact is expected.

Expected Impact
Thanks to the redundant setup no impact is expected. Already running virtual servers are not affected by this work as they will be live-migrated to other compute nodes before the upgrade. The network infrastructure is not changed during this upgrade and no network connectivity issues are expected.
