Major OpenStack Upgrade in RMA Region from 2023-10-02 20:00 CEST to 2023-10-02 22:17 CEST

The upgrade was successful. All services should be fully functional again.

Maintenance Work
We will perform a major upgrade of OpenStack on our control and compute hosts in the RMA (Rümlang) region. Our Cloud Control Panel and API will remain active during this maintenance work. While in maintenance, the performance of the Cloud Control Panel and API may be degraded, and during short periods of time it may not be possible to make any changes (for each case, we measured around 3 minutes in our lab). Already running virtual servers, and operations in the LPG (Lupfig) region, will not be affected by this work.

Expected Impact
The performance of the Cloud Control Panel and API may be degraded and they may even be briefly unavailable during the maintenance. Thanks to our redundant setup no further impact is expected. Already running virtual servers, and other regions, will not be affected by this work.
